The Monterey Bay Baptist District Association’s committed to developing strong unity among its member Churches in their effort to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to meet its needs of sustaining and edifying. This will be accomplished through evangelism, Christian Education and Discipleship training by providing for all ages, teaching/learning opportunities that involve experience, knowledge, reflection, understanding, interpretation, decision-making and action. The Association will endeavor in equipping and enabling persons, whether as individuals, families, or the Church in making the faith and heritage of the Christian Community their own; continuing to grow as Christians; participating in God’s continuing work of redeeming; of liberating the oppressed; and of making the Good News of love, justice and well-being a reality within the life of the congregation, community, nation and entire world. The Association will be a source of confidence and wise counsel for Churches in crisis, and will also provide an avenue of strong camaraderie among the Pastors and Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
